2023 Halloween Parade and Party

On Saturday, October 28, spookiness blanketed Middleridge as MCA hosted the annual Halloween Parade, Party, and the new Halloween Decor Contest.

It was an unseasonably warm afternoon, but that did not dampen the fall spirits as Middleridge residents dressed up, lined the streets in support, mingled in the park, and lit up the evening with their spooky yard displays all in preparation for the MCA events of the day.

Halloween Parade
Residents had a howlin’ good time at the Annual Middleridge Halloween Parade. Participants met at the top ‘o Broadwater Drive and James Halley Drive and walked to Middleridge Park for the after party. Others lined the streets on the parade route to check out the fantastic costumes.

Halloween Party in the Park
The Halloween Parade ended at Middleridge Park where a Halloween Party ensued. Games, Face Painting, Treats, and a Spooky Trail all added to the festivities. Neighbors enjoyed the afternoon opportunity to mingle and chat as the children played.

Many Thanks
There were many helpers who made this event the huge success it was. Caroline Kay and Ashlyn Edwards with Marie Morris helped coordinate our Halloween Parade and Party with Fairfax Club Estates. Many others also donated items or volunteered time to make this such an exceptional afternoon including: Ryan Kay, Neil Koodallur, Erica Witty, August Falck, Jacob & Aiden Pachter, and at least eight others who helped run all the games.
