Review of Minutes: Minutes from November approved

Treasurer’s Report: John Tedrick

• Total Planned Income to Date: $21,145.33
• Actual Income to Date: $21,664.06
• Total Planned Expenses to Date: $18,022.67
• Actual Expenses to Date: $17,890.29
• EOY Projected Reserve: $636.10

Membership Committee: 356 – Directory is being printed

Other Committee Reports

• Neighborhood Watch – Greg Summer (replacement?) – No update
• Welcoming – Carole Rodero – No update
• Newsletter – Catie Morales – No update
• Webmaster – Kim Nelson – The Board requests Kim and Joe to get samples of the homepage for look and feel – Board to provide some links to community websites that are appealing.

Continuing Business—Issues and Updates

• Server/Website, Next Door Middleridge, member survey – Joe Landry and Kim Nelson – Survey completed (60 responses) – Board to review surveys for key takeaways.
• Dog waste receptacle with bags—Board tabled this item
• Book exchange where people can exchange reading material (potential location on empty lot at Broadwater (near Paynes Church) update – research purchasing a box (Little Library) or building one.  Board to consider with 2017 budget discussion.
• Ownership of Soundwall along RT. 123 – with the help of Del. Bulova, VDOT has taken responsibility for maintenance since it is in the ROW.
• Board to review time and location of meetings and consider virtual options.

Continuing Business – Upcoming Events

• Feed the Firefighters? – Need PCO – Need to select firehouse, look into partnering with FCE, MCA to provide main dish and neighbors to provide sides
• Christmas Judging – Dec 17^th 6-10PM (18^th rain day) POC Al and Sandy Obuchowski
• Luminaire Sand – Date? – Determine contractor to donate sand (Yard Enhancements?)
• Santa Visit – Dec 18^th – Need to buy candy and provide to Burke Volunteer FD prior

New Business

• Feed the Firefighters – postpone to February 2017
• Christmas Judging, Dec 17, 6-10PM  POC: Al and Sandy Obuchowski
• Santa’s visit on Dec 18^th, 2-3PM
