On a very warm August 6 evening, neighbors, first responders, and community supporters gathered in Middleridge Park from 6–8pm for a very fun National Night Out.
Attendees were invited to meet our police, sheriff, and Burke Volunteer Fire Department as well as cruise other local vendor tables. McGruff mingled with the crowds, delighting children. Additionally, families were able to enjoy food from Robinson Oasis Boosters, allow children to burn energy in the bouncy house, snack on complimentary popcorn or cool down with complimentary ice cream, play games, win Raffle prizes, listen to music, and just have a plain old good time!!
Many thanks to John Bayer for leading the event and for the many, many volunteers and donations we received to make the event such a wonderful success.
