Biannual Open Member Meeting

Thursday October 13th at 7pm, we will be having our MCA bi-annual Open Member meeting.

Location: Burke Centre

Library (5935 Freds Oak Road

Burke, Va. 22015) as well as by Zoom (details to come).

Agenda: Look for a full agenda via email, but we will be going over a number of important items including the bylaws, hearing from our local leaders, voting for a new Vice President, and discussing community concerns.

Open Position:

MCA needs to fill the Board with a new VP for the remainder of this year (until the Spring BoardMeeting). “It is with sadness that I must report that Tim Harazin is resigning his position as VP. Tim and his wife have will be moving south for a new adventure. I cannot express to you how much we will miss Tim’s enthusiastic leadership and willingness to always lend a hand. He has been a leading force in what makes this community and our civic associationso special,” noted MCA President David Simon.

“I would encourage any member who isinterested in helping our community out more directly to think about running,” Simon added.
