A hearty congratulations to our 2024 MCA Scholarship winners! When the awards were presented at the May general meeting, the students were introduced and had the opportunity to tell a little about their chosen teacher/mentor in addition to their future plans.

Joseph Johnson  Teacher/Mentor: Andrew Loft

Ashlyn Edwards  Teacher/Mentor: Kathleen Skocik and Sarah Engel

Awards were based on academics, extra-curricular activities, community service, and an interview where students were assessed for poise, professionalism, backgrounds, passion, etc… Scholarship winners received $750 and their most influential counselor/teacher received $50. 

A big thank you to our scholarship committee members: Bob Franklin (chair), Kristen McManus (award presenter), and Nora McCuen for all of their hard work. 

The committee was blown away by the Middleridge students and thanks all the applicants!
